How long will my order take to arrive?
We process orders within 3 to 5 business days. Once your order ships, delivery takes 3 to 7 business days to metro cities and 5 to 10 business days to other locations. During launches and sales, processing can take a little longer.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes, we deliver to metro cities and non-metro locations across India.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on orders above ₹2599 Below that, a standard shipping charge of ₹150-180 applies, shown at checkout before you pay.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking link. You can also log in to your account on our website to see your order status.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
No, we only accept prepaid orders.
My order is delayed. What should I do?
Courier delays sometimes happen, especially during festive season. If your order hasn't arrived within the delivery window, message us at [thefadetheory763@gmail.com] or DM us on Instagram @thefade.theory with your Order ID, and we'll chase it for you.
I need my order for a specific date. Can you help?
Our full timeline is up to 5 business days to process, plus 3 to 10 business days to deliver, depending on your city. For festive dates, order at least two weeks ahead. If you're cutting it close, DM us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether it will make it.
Returns, exchanges and refunds
Can I return my order?
We accept returns only if your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or you receive the wrong item. Raise your request within 48 hours of delivery. The piece must be unused, with original tags and packaging. Once your return is approved, we'll arrange a pickup..
How do I get a refund for a damaged or wrong item?
Email us at [thefadetheory763@gmail.com] within 48 hours of delivery with your Order ID and clear photos of the issue. Once approved, your refund will reach your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
The size doesn't fit. Can I exchange it?
Yes. We offer size exchanges within 5 days of delivery, as long as the piece is unworn and unwashed. Exchanges depend on stock, as we make each piece in small batches, and exchange shipping charges may apply.
What if the size I need is out of stock?
Since we work with limited inventory, we can't always guarantee an exchange, so we recommend checking the size guide or DMing us before you order.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind or the size is wrong?
We don't offer refunds for change of mind or size issues. For sizing, use our size exchange instead.
Can I return sale items?
Sale items cannot be returnable, however size exchanges will be possible as per our inventory stock.
Sizing and fit
How do I find my size?
Every product page has a size guide with measurements for each size, from XS to L. Measure yourself and compare with the guide before you order.
I'm between sizes. What should I pick?
DM us on Instagram @thefade.theory with your measurements and the piece you're looking at. We'll tell you which size will give you the fit it was designed for.
What size is the model wearing?
All our models are wearing size S, our sizes do not validate with the generic size of outfits so kindly check our size chart before placing an order.
Our pieces
What fabric is the Soft Recession made from? Is it suitable for all seasons?
The Soft Recession is crafted from a plaid suiting fabric that has a slightly warm feel while still being comfortable to wear. The fabric isn’t overly heavy, making the piece versatile enough to be worn across seasons.
Are the styling pieces in the photos included?
No. You only receive the piece named on the product page. Anything else in the photos, like the belt with Soft Recession, the shirt with Split Decision or the tank under Suspended Memory, is styling only.
How do I choose the right size, and is the fabric stretchable?
None of the fabrics used in our pieces in The Rewind Issue are stretchable, so we highly recommend checking your body measurements carefully against our size chart before selecting your size. Pay particular attention to the bust, waist, and hip measurements depending on the silhouette of the piece. Since the fabrics have little to no give, choosing the size closest to your actual measurements will ensure a more comfortable and accurate fit.
What can I wear underneath the Back Clause?
Depending on your preferred level of coverage, the Back Clause can be styled with nipple covers, boob tape, a seamless bralette, or a low-back/barely-there bra. For the cleanest look, we recommend choosing an option that stays concealed beneath the back detailing.
How can I adjust the Back Clause if the back strap still feels loose?
The Back Clause features a belt-style adjustable strap at the back. If the fit still feels loose even when fastened at the last hole, you can overlap the excess strap inside the belt for a more snug and secure fit. This allows you to adjust the piece more closely to your body for added comfort and support.
Does the Split Decision come with a white skirt to wear underneath?
Yes, the Split Decision comes with a white skirt underneath. But It’s also designed to give you the freedom to style it your way. Pair it with a mini skirt, bodycon mini skirt, or anything else that complements your look. There are no rules—wear it your way and make it your own.
